Η παράσταση Socrates Now αποτελεί μια επιτυχημένη δραματοποίηση της υπεράσπισης του Σωκράτη στο Αθηναϊκό δικαστήριο όπως καταγράφηκε στο διαχρονικό έργο του Πλάτωνα.

Την εκκεντρική και συγχρόνως μαγνητική προσωπικότητα του Σωκράτη ζωντανεύει ο διακεκριμένος ηθοποιός Γιάννης Σιμωνίδης ο οποίος με μαεστρία αναδεικνύει την αιχμηρή λογική, αλλά και τις αντιλήψεις του Σωκράτη σε ένα έργο που συναρπάζει το κοινό με το χιούμορ και την αμεσότητα της θεατρικής του απόδοσης. Αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι της παράστασης αποτελεί η ανοιχτή συζήτηση του ηθοποιού με το κοινό.

H παράσταση Socrates Now παρουσιάζεται από την Polyplanity Productions & το EllinikoTheatro στο Μουσείο του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών από 27 Ιουνίου έως 19 Ιουλίου.
