Όταν η Georgia ανέβασε φωτογραφία με την κολλητή της δεν περίμενε να δεχτεί τέτοια επίθεση

 Η Georgia Gibbs, μοντέλο από την Αυστραλία, ανέβασε στο προσωπικό της Instagram μια φωτογραφία μαζί με την κολλητή της Kate Wasley, επίσης μοντέλο.

Και τότε τα μηνύματα έπεσαν βροχή. Βλέπετε η Kate είναι μοντέλο plus size ενώ η Georgia αποτελεί το απόλυτο πρότυπο για τη μόδα, με τον ιδανικό σωματότυπο. Πολλοί την κατηγόρησαν πως ομόρφυνε τον εαυτό της και βγήκε δίπλα - δίπλα με την φίλη της για να φαίνεται εκείνη πιο αδύνατη και, κατά συνέπεια, η φίλη της πιο εύσωμη.  

"Ανεβάσαμε την φωτογραφία, σαν δύο κολλητές που διασκεδάζουν το σαββατοκύριακο", γράφει η Georgia.

"Εγώ και η Kate είμαστε κολλητές, γιατί να το κάνω αυτό;", συνεχίζει.

Οι δυο τους αποφάσισαν να δημιουργήσουν μια οργάνωση, ονόματι AnyBody, που υποστηρίζει το υγιές σώμα είτε με λιγότερα είτε με περισσότερα κιλά και φυσικά απέκτησαν και άλλους θαυμαστές ενώ περνούν το μήνυμα πως κάποια στιγμή πρέπει να σταματήσουμε να κρίνουμε τους ανθρώπους από την εξωτερική εμφάνιση.

"Αγαπήστε τον εαυτό σας, στηρίξτε τους γύρω σας και σταματήστε να συγκρίνεστε με τους άλλους" λένε.

Ίσως αυτό να σωπάσει τις φωνές που έλεγαν πως η Georgia ήθελε να υπονομεύσει τη φίλη της.

The last couple of days we've had a couple of people ask, "how can you preach about loving ANY BODY, when you're both models with no flaws?" ......... We really do love your questions because we want to know how you feel, positive or negative! ❤ As models, we are always 'expected' to be and look a certain way, that's just a stereotype, if anything the pressure from beauty standards within the industry can actually make it harder and therefore we are more passionate to help other women embrace who they are.
