"A night comprising a rotating list of residents dedicated to bringing the best in underground sounds to Athens with love; made by and for this city's party people".
Now in its second season and still
taking place in the snug Bar space of Six D.O.G.S. we cordially invite
you to our monthly gathering as debuted back in March of this year.
As
a group we had been kicking this idea about for a bit and as you'll see
from the list of participants making up this project, we all share in a
collective sense of quality underground music, but with each selector
bringing their own personal take on that, resulting in what we think is a
unique quality in an across the board, friends and family style night.
Season one saw us take it beyond the bar, to the beach as well as a BBQ, now we are into winter mode so expect warm sounds and seasonal cheer! You will also meet some new members of the crew this season as we have expanded our ranks!
There are no headliners - this is all of our night, and out of the pot of ROTATION residents 5 different DJs will play each month with those names only being announced on the night to the public by way of a hand scrawled notice pinned up on the door!
If you think your publications, broadcasts and blogs can give some support to this project we would be very appreciative and of course we'd love you to come down and support in person on the night; what we hope to see is support for a local team from a local community of music Forthcoming dates locked in for us include Saturday December 1st & a Christmas Day Special on Tuesday December 25th as well as a special announcement coming soon about NYE; Athens' DJs Stand Up!
